Pine Wood Derby

I realized that I never did tell about the "GREAT WIN" that Zach had at our Ward's Pine Wood Derby this Spring.  It was his first time competing and Mark and him made an awesome car. They did something right because he took first place - even beating the Bishop who's car has won many times.

Way to go Zach!!!

A VERY Happy Mother's Day!

What do all 3 of these pictures have in common?
They sum up my VERY busy, stressful and exciting week!
It began with auditions for Alpine Community Theater's production of Annie on May 5 for Maddie, Abby and myself.  Then we had callbacks all week for the parts we wanted. (I have never had to work so hard for a part in a show! So many great performers!)  I have wanted to play the part of Grace Farrell my whole life so I was very anxious about this ALL week!!

On top of it all, I had my spring piano recital for 23 students on Thursday night.  All of them did GREAT!  Especially Maddie, Abby and Zach!

Then FINALLY on Friday night we found out that we had been cast as Grace and orphans in Annie and we were sooo excited!

On Mother's Day morning I found a fun surprise when I came down to get breakfast on Mother's Day.   My whole kitchen was plastered with all the reasons (about 200) of why the kids and Mark love me.  I am the luckiest wife and mother ever!

Lindsey's Graduation from UVU

Mark's sister, Lindsey & her husband, Steve, graduated from UVU this spring.
We are all so very proud of them!

Zach's Ti Kwan Doe Competition

Zach competed at his 2nd Kid Kicker's Tournament for Ti Kwan Doe last week.  He was AWESOME!  He won a medal for all 3 of the areas he competed in this year.

Gold: Jimbara
Silver: Forms
Bronze: Sparing

Zach and his teachers - They are AMAZING!

Very proud boy!

Savior of The World - Stake Production

I am so excited to share one of the most wonderful times in our lives this spring with you all.  As you may remember I had mentioned that Mark and I were in the Lehi West & Traverse Mountain Stake production of Savior of The World.  I played the part of Mary's Mother and Mark played the Prophet Micah and Christ.  Every part of our experiences throughout this production - from casting to performance night - was truly a blessing and a testimony builder.

Here are a few pictures throughout the show.  Enjoy!
